All New Orkut The Orkut team announces that the entire orkut is built again from scratch using the Google Web tool with lot of few features !!! but once again they made its  users bit unhappy with the ‘invite’ strategy.. (I am yet to receive my google wave invite :| ) Lets see whether orkut manages to tighten its grip in the war against Facebook. As a very old orkut user and lover, I wish orkut rises to the top again.

Adobe’s Font collection : Adobe Font Folio 11 is a collection of more than 2K fonts. Adobe plans to sell this collection at the rate of $2599 oops each font costs more than $1 !!! I am not sure how many are gonna prefer this collection over the thousands of free font collections available in the web.

I felt really sad to view this image.. yeah , i am talking about the closure of geocities by Yahoo. More than a decennium, geocities allowed its users to host several webpages in various genres, many realised their dream of having their personal website though Geocities, and I am one among them.

Postcardware !!!!

When I was using “Exifier” ( an application for manipulating/correcting the EXIF data in Digital photographs) I came across a term called “Postcardware”, then I googled and found few interesting facts about it.

The users are required to register the (Postcardware) software which they use, not by paying money, but by sending a post card to the developer as a token of appreciation !!!
