Shrink-O-Matic Shrink-O-Maticis will be a handy tool for people handling large number of images. I found this tool useful, as I click lot of image and resize it in batch to share with my friends. (right now I use Picasa client !! ) Shrink-O-Maticis is an Adobe Air application which is distributed as  freeware. With Shrink-O-Maticis users can perform basic operations such as renaming and resizing on batch of images. Similar kind of AIR application which is found under the freeware category is “Caldera – batch image resize”. Caldera also offers almost same set of features .

Adobe releases Adobe AIR 2 Beta. New features in AIR 2 as listed in Adobe Labs website :) Support for the detection of mass storage devices. Advanced networking capabilities like secure sockets, UDP support, and the ability to listen on sockets. Support for native code integration. The ability to open a file with its default application. Multi-touch and gesture support. New APIs for access to raw microphone data. Webkit update with HTML5/CSS3 support. Global error handling. Improved cross-platform printing Improved security and support for enterprise and government standards.

Galileo is out :D One of my favorite IDE Eclipse, has released its new version Galileo. Also they have given the download option though torrents !! I am really excited about the torrent download option :D and I am gonna start downloading Galileo using my torrent client  :)

All New Orkut The Orkut team announces that the entire orkut is built again from scratch using the Google Web tool with lot of few features !!! but once again they made its  users bit unhappy with the ‘invite’ strategy.. (I am yet to receive my google wave invite :| ) Lets see whether orkut manages to tighten its grip in the war against Facebook. As a very old orkut user and lover, I wish orkut rises to the top again.
